I cannot believe what Vision Therapy Academy has done for me! I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2011 and a concussion in April of 2023. I was having so much trouble with my vision, headaches and balance. It was getting harder and harder for me to continue with my job. I wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to continue working with how things were going. I was in physical therapy and my therapist suggested that I try Vision therapy with Dr. Wonderling. She had seen so many great success stories from their academy and thought I would be a great fit to go through that. I was hesitant at first being I knew it was a huge commitment and I only wanted to do it if I was going to be 100% compliant and could do all the work. I decided I did not want to live this way any longer and reached out to them and started the program.

I am so glad that I did. It was so great to see progress being made, as you would go along. I had not been able to read a book without having so many issues that I just quit reading! I have now finished my 7th book! I am not seeing double or having floaters. I am enjoying reading so much, more than I ever have my whole life! My balance has improved, and I do not get headaches at all like I used to. It is so great to do computer work at my job without having the issues I was having; I do not have my eyes roaming all over the screen to find things. This program is unbelievable!! I can’t believe all the tools they have to help everyone become a success. The staff there is friendly and really want you to become successful. They will do anything they can to help you to make things as easy as possible. They share in your joy when you get so excited when you accomplish something you have been working so hard at. From being greeted by Nancy when you walk in the door and having help with scheduling to having Jennifer, Kendra and Shannon working with you each week and then Dr. Wonderling doing progress checks and answering questions throughout the process it has been just a great experience and I’m so thankful I went through it.

I would recommend this program to not only children & teens, but I sure would to adults. It was sure worth every hour I put into it and there were a lot of hours, but it was well worth it!!!! I would do it again just to accomplish what I did.
